Qualifications & Statements of Attainment
Is accredited training available to individuals as well as groups?
Yes. An individual can complete training with us leading to the award of a qualification or a statement of attainment. We also offer group training for qualifications or statements of attainment.
We offer a range of different methods of completing training, including face-to-face training for work groups, public offer training and supported distance education (usually for units of competence with less demand). Don’t forget, you may be eligible for recognition of prior learning if you are already experienced in a particular field, so be sure to ask us about competency assessment options. You may find that you do not need to complete training if you have already developed your skills to a point that meets the competency requirements.
What is a qualification?
A qualification comprises a number of individual units of competency. Some units are required (compulsory) units, others are elective. At Bayley, we offer qualifications at Certificate II, Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma levels.

How can I get a qualification?
By successfully completing all required and elective units, you will be eligible for the award of a qualification. At Bayley, we have many pathways available for completing units including face-to-face training, small group coaching, one on one coaching, workplace assignment, and recognition of prior learning.
What is a Statement of Attainment?
A statement of attainment lists the individual units of competency that a student has completed. It is nationally recognised under the AQF. A statement of attainment is proof of your progress towards meeting the requirements for a qualification.
How can I get a Statement of Attainment?
When you successfully complete an individual unit of competency, you will receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment.
Is a Bayley Statement of Attainment recognised elsewhere?
Yes. Under the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) standards all RTOs must recognise the qualifications and statements of attainment issued by other RTOs. So all RTOs in Australia will recognise your Bayley qualification or statement of attainment. This allows you the flexibility to complete some units of competency with Bayley and other units with another RTO such as a TAFE college or another RTO.
Is a Statement of Attainment from another RTO recognised by Bayley?
Yes. Under the AQTF standards, Bayley will recognise your statement of attainment and qualification issued by any other Australian RTO. This allows you the opportunity to finish partially completed qualifications or upgrade qualifications with Bayley.
