Governernment Skills Australia selected Bayley & Associates to develop new national procurement competencies for inclusion as electives in the Diploma and Advanced Diploma qualifications. A team from Bayleys has met with a wide representation from government and education sectors. The new units are scheduled for release for public comment during June 2011, and we anticipate Ministerial endorsement in the latter part of 2011.

Easy upgrade to new procurement qualifications!

If you already hold an old procurement or contract management qualification from Bayleys you can easily upgrade to the new qualification. We are currently offering the following upgrades:
• Vocational Graduate Certificate in Government (Strategic Procurement) PSP70110
• Diploma of Government (Procurement and Contracting) PSP52510
• Certificate IV in Government (Procurement and Contracting) PSP42410

How is this possible? By carefully mapping the competencies of the old qualifications against the new, and using the principles of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), Bayleys have developed a suite of "upgrade" courses. These courses provide the opportunity to cover the new content and refresh your current professional knowledge in a very effective way.

Bayleys is offering public offer courses and inhouse courses for work teams (usually minimum of 6 participants). See our course schedule for the public offer upgrade program for Semester 1, 2011.

If your current qualification is not from Bayleys you may still be eligible to complete our upgrade program. Contact us to discuss your particular circumstances.

AAPCM endorses Bayleys as training partner
The Australian Association of Procurement and Contract Management (AAPCM) has endorsed Bayley & Associates as one of its training partners.

AAPCM says "AAPCM has formed strategic relationships with training providers that provide high quality courses in the fields of procurement and contract management. These training partners are Registered Training Organisations (RTO) and are therefore authorised to conduct training and issue qualifications that meet the requirements of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)."

Bayleyteam logo Bayleys new office and training complex in Mawson!
After 10 years of operations in Phillip we have moved to our new office and training complex in Mawson, adjacent to the shopping centre. Our business just kept growing and we finally couldn't fit into our old offices anymore.

Our new office contains an open plan administrative area, offices and meeting rooms, specialist IT and printing area and gleaming staff facilities.

We are also very excited about our two new training rooms on site. The rooms are purpose built for training and our facilitators love them. Our clients are also enjoying the new environment, including our very well appointed kitchen. Clients love the coffee machine, ice maker, well stocked fridge and catering arrangements for hot food and drinks. We also have free car parking nearby.
