Australian Institute of Project Management

What is the AIPM?
The AIPM (Australian Institute of Project Management) is a professional body representing Project Managers in Australia.

AIPM professional certification program
AIPM's accreditation program is called RegPM (Registered Project Manager). As RegPM is a professional recognition, AIPM certifications require evidence of significant practical on-the-job experience as a project practitioner, project manager or project director, as well as the achievement of underpinning knowledge requirements.  The AIPM certification levels and their corresponding indicative AQF qualifications for required underpinning knowledge are:
 • Certified Practising Project Practitioner (CPPP) - Certificate IV in Project Management
 • Certified Practising Project Manager (CPPM) - Diploma of Project Management
 • Certified Practicing Senior Project Manager (CPSPM) - Diploma of Project Management
 • Certified Practising Project Director (CPPD) - Advanced Diploma of Project Management

Candidates for AIPM certification must be able to demonstrate both knowledge (by either an AQF qualification or experience) and practical experience in the relevant role.
