We have been directly involved with writing many of the Government procurement competencies and understand them inside and out.  Other providers have to learn what we wrote.

Bayley and Associates facilitators only train subjects in which they have significant professional experience and for which they are also properly qualified.  They are knowledgeable, practical, experienced and know great stories and case studies which can bring potentially dull subjects to life.

Active Industry Involvement
Our facilitators maintain active professional memberships of organisations such as the Australian Association of Procurement and Contract Management (AAPCM External link), Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM External link) and the Vocational Education and Learning Group (VELG External link).  Through our active membership of these organisations, our facilitators stay in touch with the latest professional updates and contribute actively to debate about policy and practice developments in these professions.

Ruth Bayley External link and John JacobiExternal link are AIPM External link professional certification assessors.  John has recently retired from the AIPM’s ACT Chapter committee after many years of service to the AIPM.

Bayley and Associates has worked closely with the Industry Skills Council for the Public Sector, Government Skills Australia, since 2009 in the development of procurement competencies and procurement qualifications for the government sector.  Ruth Bayley, Kerry Bayley, Gordon Mackney, Natalie Hunter, Stephen Phipps, Julie Summerfield and John Jacobi are AAPCM professional certification assessors.
